When I got back home from the driving seminar today, my sis was just.. bursting with joy and laughter, itching to tell me what funny situations happened in school today and asking me who's who in bu4 and which club she should join.. Seeing her like that, I can't describe the.. happiness I feel for her. Really happy. Especially since she had originally intended to appeal to be sent to DJ.
Ahh. I can only hope that I'll be as enthusiastic about college as melissa is about secondary school.
You know how enthusiastic she is? She can actually wake up on time in the morning (a feat she has never, I repeat, never, in all of her primary schooldays, been able to achieve.. until now.) Before she goes to bed, she says to me: I can't wait for school tomorrow.
Wow. I hope this lasts.
I want a reason to be looking forward to college too! Not just the drive to excel and achieve my longtime dream of studying in the UK (although that is already quite a strong push).. but also, something.. lighter, cheerier, that will put a spring in my step each day as I enter campus.
Hmm. One can only hope & pray. A little faith goes a looong way!
